| Wow time has just been flying by. Sorry I haven't been blogging much. I've made a number of changes in my life in the past few months. Even though I enjoyed working at the hotel, I decided to quit to pursue nursing, something that I've dreamed of doing for a long time. So I quit back in August and started nursing school. Let me just tell you, it's INTENSE! I was warned that it was a very demanding program but lately my classmates and I have been comparing it to boot camp! haha Okay, I'm just venting but actually at the end of the day I'm loving what I'm doing for the people that I care for. Some might not be the nicest, most cooperating people but I know they really appreciate what I do for them.
Ryan has been transitioning well to my going back to school too. Before me going back to school, he slept with us in our bed and woke up at least 5 times a night. A couple weeks before school started we put him in his own room and he slept the whole night in his crib! And, he's been sleeping there ever since! Plus, he's been sleeping earlier and longer. He goes to bed around 6:30pm and doesn't wake up until about 6-7am. I also started only giving him bottle feedings around that same time. He must have gotten a little shock from mommy changing up his routine but he adjusted really well. He's such a good little boy. He's now 10 and 1/2 months and has been crawling and cruising along the furniture for awhile now. I know he'll be walking on his own soon. He has 2 little bottom teeth that popped out and no signs of any others popping out yet. Those 2 teeth took awhile to pop out so I don't expect the others to grow in soon. I just hope that they don't all grow in at the same time and I'll be stuck with a grumpy teething baby.
Here's one of my favorite pics of my baby. Ryan is in the middle. It's a pretty recent pic of him. That's Mr. U on the left and me on the right. Usually people think Ryan looks my hubs but I think Ryan looks a lot like me here. That must be why this is one of my favorite pics of him. hahahaha 
Here's another pic of Ryan and I in my hula performance costume back in May. He was 6 months old. I didn't want to take the picture alone so I dressed him up and had him take the pic with me. He just had woken up from his nap to take this pic.

| ryan is now 3 months old. i can't believe how fast these past months have gone by. he's already grown so much and his personality has been definitely showing a lot more. he loves playing in his little activity gym and swatting at the hanging bird and he loves lying in his changing table...but not his crib. he's been smiling and cooing a lot more these days. when he coos it sounds like he says "hi." it's too cute.

motherhood is wonderful. i love seeing him look up at me with those big brown eyes. it just melts my  .

| so much has been going on...the avon walk for breast cancer, my brother's wedding, my trip to hawaii, my cousin-in-law's wedding, and now moving to a new house. i promise to fill you all in but for now i'm leaving you with this.
